About the designer

I have been a member of the Seattle SM community since 1993. In 1996 I volunteered on the team that put together Powersurge (Currently known as Wicked Womyn). In 1998 I organized my first fashion show fundraiser at Beyond the Edge Cafe with Washington State Ms Leather, Eileen Fix. From 2003 through 2008 I volunteered at the Center for Sex Positive Culture (CSPC) organizing the Cirque du Noc and later also their summer vendor fairs. From 2006 through 2009 I served on the board of directors for the CSPC.

In 1994 I began to make fetishwear for myself and my friends. In 1996 I met someone special who shared my love of lycra and other stretchy stuff. I have made my lucky boy hundreds of items of clothing and bondage toys. We have played and experimented perfecting my patterns for fit, making sure that everything I offer is durable and inescapable. Over the years I have taken great pride in making the highest quality clothing and fetishwear. I specialize in stretchy stuff such as Slinkyknit as seen at WinterCouture.com and PVC, Spandex, Latex, and Darlex as showcased here. 1997 was the year I quit the day job and devoted my life to my business, Winter Couture. My bondagewear products have been found at Mr. S. Leather in San Francisco since 1998, at the House of Gord since 2000, at Extreme Restraints on the web, and Eagle Leather in Australia since 2004.

What is Darlex?

Two layers of spandex bonded together with an ultra thin layer of rubber. It has a firmer hold than spandex and is far more durable too!
